For some people, the computer itself can be a scary subject considering the complexity of the machine. Talking to a computer network may cause heart attacks to these people. However, this is not as scary as it sounds.
Computer networking can be interpreted by separating the two words. The "computer", as we know, is a complex machine that helps in processing information. The term "network management" refers to a link or link. Therefore, the computer network would simply mean that two or more computers are connected. When this link is "linked", we mean that one computer can be accessed through another.
Generally speaking, connecting two or more computers is possible in two ways. The first is called a wired network and the other is a wireless network. Both are a huge subject to study and understand. However, in layman's language it can be said that when two or more computers are connected through wires, they call it a wired network. And when wirelessly connected wirelessly, it is called a wireless network. Because wired networks are limited to the area of wire-wired deployment, similarly to wireless range limitations. The number of machines on the network ensures the network speed. Several machines in the network would be a slow network.
Different computer network systems may include: – Personal Area Network; Local network; Campus Area Network; Metropolitan network; A large-scale network; Global Network and most important internet, intranet or extranet. Names are given to the network, depending on what arena they are in. For example, in campus, it would mean that machines in a physically restricted campaign are connected to the computer network. This can be wired or wireless networking.
The Internet can be interpreted as a global networking system.
